Wilma Hutson

Wilma Hutson, 91 of Keenes, IL passed away at 1:30 PM, Friday, March 3, 2023, at her home.  Born on January 12, 1932, in Geff, IL to Johnnie and Carrie (Richards) Powell, she had been a homemaker and member of the Canaan Bridge Church. 

Wilma is survived by 6 sons- Robert (Dimple) Hutson Sr. of Marion, IL, Larry (Veronica) Hutson of Fairfax, MO, Vern (Nancy) Hutson of Fairfield, IL, Ronald (Janice) Hutson of Arma, KS, Rick (Susie) Hutson of Arma, KS, and Lewis (Lisa) Hutson Jr., of Fairfield, IL, 3 daughters- Judy (Hayward) Herrin of Fairfield, IL, Tammy (Roger) Hutchinson of Fairfield, IL, and Teresa (David) Ward of Geff, IL, 55 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren (plus one on the way).  She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Lewis Hutson Sr., her parents, grandson Hayward Herrin Jr., 4 great great grandchildren, sister Helen Siddens, and brothers Ralph Simms and Johnnie Powell Jr.

Funeral services for Wilma Hutson will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, March 9th at Canaan Bridge Church, with visitation from 12 PM until the time of service at the church.  Burial will follow in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.  Memorials in her honor may be made to Canaan Bridge Church and will be accepted at the services or the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, which is handling arrangements.
