Wayne Workman

Wayne Workman, 83 of Orchardville, IL (formerly of Flora) died, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  Wayne was born September 16, 1939, in Clay County, IL to Raymond and Lorine (Green) Workman.  He married Marilyn Medder on March 12, 1993, in Clay County, IL.  He had been a mechanic for Bill Wood Motors. 

Wayne is survived by his wife Marilyn Workman of Orchardville, 3 sons- Wayne (Penny) Workman Jr. of Flora, Bruce Workman of Flora and Shane (Jala) Workman of Fairfield, 2 daughters- Lois “Trinket” Parker of Louisville and Tina (Steve) Waters of Flora, IL, 4 brothers- Raymond Workman Jr of South Carolina, Norman (Shirley) Workman of Flora, Larry Workman of Flora, Carl (Ethel) Workman of Flora, a sister Janice Clark of Flora, and several grandkids and great grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters- Shelia Shipley and Dorothy Senters, and a brother Charles “Charlie” Workman. 

Wayne will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.  Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield is handling cremation.
