Tongsuk "Dolly" Romine

Tongsuk “Dolly” Romine, 82, of Sims, passed away at 11:49AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home. She had been a homemaker. Dolly was born in Thailand on January 1, 1944, to Peem Saengchan and Muang Jan Jansushm.

Dolly is survived by her sons- Allen (Corey) Downen of Yorkville IL, Donnie (Whitley) Downen of Sims, and Kevin (Jessica Waldrop) Downen of Fairfield; daughter- Michelle Downen of Sims; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren also survive.

Dolly was preceded in death by her husband- Michael Romine, son- Ronnie Lee Downen, and grandson- Nick Downen.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30AM on Monday March 23, 2026, at Baltimore Cemetery. There will be no visitation, family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
