Shirley Ann (McNeely) Pilcher

Shirley Ann Pilcher, 85, of Fairfield, passed away at 4:00am on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care. 

Shirley was born on August 21, 1938, in Wayne County, IL, to William P. and Ruby (Grubb) McNeely. On October 25, 1956, she married the love of her life, Lewis Pilcher, who preceded her in death in 2014. 

Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairfield. She loved her family, friends, and the Lord and was always trying to take care of everyone around her. 

Survivors include two sons Terry (Staci) Pilcher of Geff and Randy Pilcher of Fairfield, a grandson Aaron Ray Pilcher, a great grandson Maxton Pilcher, and a brother Richard (Anita) McNeely of Geff. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lewis, a grandson Gregory Pilcher, and two brothers Gaylord McNeely and Clifford McNeely. 

Graveside services for Shirley Pilcher will be at 10am on Monday, June 3rd at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church and will be accepted at the service or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
