Ronald Dale Walker

Ronald Dale Walker, 82, of Mt Erie passed away at 7:48PM on Friday January 23, 2026, at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. He was a heavy equipment operator for 50 years. He was a St. Louis Cardinal fan and an outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing. Ron was born in Wayne County on September 26, 1943, to Clifford and Mildred (Allison) Walker. He married Lavon Hallam on March 4, 1963.

Ron is survived by his wife- Lavon Walker of Mt Erie; children- Dalisa (Danny) Rogers, Wesley (Yolanda) Walker, and Brian Walker all of Cisne; grandchildren- Brittany Rogers, Aaron (Brooklyn Kemplen) Rogers, Emily (Fiancé- Kirby Coble) Walker, and Noah Walker; great grandchildren- Owen Rogers, Beau Rogers, and Jayla Jones; brother- Garnie (Rheda) Walker of Ohio; sister- Darlene (Victor) Kuhl of Dundas; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, brothers- Donnie G. Walker and Arnold Lee Walker, sisters- Delaine Schwarzlose and Brenda Walker.

Per Ron’s wishes, his body will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
