Phyllis Lee Sutherland

Phyllis L. Sutherland, 84 of Mill Shoals passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Aperion Care in Fairfield.  Phyllis was born July 22, 1939, to Charles and Inez (Foster) Sutherland in Wayne County, IL. Phyllis worked many years as a care giver and sales representative for the Career Development Center and New 2 You in Fairfield. 

She is survived by her companion Harold J. Weber Sr., daughters Leeann Stover of California and Debbie Yates of Wyoming, brother Donald Sutherland of Bone Gap, IL, stepchildren Harold (Debbie) Weber of Carmi, IL, Ramona (James) McGill of Fairfield, Nancy Ewing of Fairfield, Katherine Walker of Geff, IL, Leonard (Becky) Weber of Fairfield, and Gloria (David) Hutchcraft of Cisne, IL, and several grand and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Wilma Strine and Sharon Talbert.

Phyllis was cremated, and a graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is assisting with cremation.
