Peggy Robbins Obituary

Peggy Ann (Molt) Robbins, 78, of Geff passed away at 4:40PM on Monday December 1, 2025, at Stonebridge Memory Care in Mt Vernon IL. She was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Peggy was a blessing to all she loved, encountered and all her former patients. Peggy was born in Mt Vernon on December 8, 1946, the daughter of the late George and Thelma Molt (Fairfield) who instilled in her, her sister Doris Molt (Evansville) and brother Jerry and Trudy Molt (Newburgh) the love of Jesus, tenacity and an iron clad work ethic.

Peggy was your classic quiet overachiever and enjoyed her many hobbies throughout her entire life. On May 10th of 1968 she married the love of her life, Donald Robbins. Peggy and Don were the perfect pair to balance each other's personality and humor tolerance. Their marriage was rooted and established in Christianity. Peggy lived her faith in all she did, schooling, marriage, mothering, and her career.

Her children, Lance (Sarah) Robbins and Rebecca (Lincoln) Nation are her greatest joys who carry on her legacy of love and service to others. Peggy has seven grandchildren: Holden Robbins, Devon Robbins, Gabe Robbins, Sophia Robbins, Isaac Nation, Meredith Nation, and Marjorie Sue Nation. Peggy has nine great grandchildren. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents George and Thelma Molt, Her husband Don and his parents T. Everett and Marjorie J. Robbins.

Funeral services for Peggy Molt will be at 11AM on Friday December 5, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service at the church.
