Norman Schell, Jr.

Norman Schell Jr., 69 of Fairfield passed away at 7:23 AM, Friday, September 13, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi.  Born on July 4, 1955, to Norman and Mary (Upton) Schell Sr., he worked at Champion Laboratories for 41 years, retiring in 2020. 

Norman is survived by his daughter Amber Schell of Fairfield, 3 grandchildren- Elijah Johnson, Tristen Belka, and Maddison Schell, brother Wayne Schell of Fairfield, 2 sisters- Dianna Claro of Fairfield, and Debbie Walker of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Norman Schell Sr., mother Mary Smith, and sister Barbara Barnes.

Funeral services for Norman Schell will be held at 1 PM, Friday, September 20th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials in his honor may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
