Nancy Smith Obituary

Nancy J. Smith, 80, passed away at 11:00AM on Tuesday August 13, 2024, at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born in Olney on November 5, 1943, to Duane E and Vernelle Maxine (Mitchell) Smith. Nancy graduated from San Jose State University on August 9, 1979, from there she went to Washington to become the legislative aid for a Senator on Capitol Hill.

Nancy is survived by her sisters- Jenny Schmid of Meza AZ, June Stock of Marion IL, Carol Warren of Sellersburg IN, and Linda Horton of San Jose CA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother- Dorain Jay Smith.

Per Nancy’s wishes, her body will be cremated with no formal services held.
