Melissa Kay Dagnan

Melissa K. Dagnan, 58, of Fairfield, passed away at 1:18am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. She had been a homemaker. 

Melissa was born on March 22, 1967, in Chicago, IL, to Francis and Golda (Amburgey) Dagnan. 

Survivors include her daughters Julia (Matt) Stone and Kristal Sorrelli (Travis Gray) of Sugar Tree, TN, and her step-daughter Shannon Sorrelli of Gary, IN, her boyfriend Robert Wichmann of Fairfield, eight grandchildren Madison, Steven, Stetson, Isaiah, Blayne, Paisley, Anthony, and Jerry, her step-mother Bernice Dagnan of Hatley, WI, four sisters Karen (Victor) Josefowicz of Itasca, IL, Tammy (Michael, Sr.) Wood of Fairfield, Jennifer (Chris) Krejcarek of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Mary (Richard) Lyshik of Berwyn, IL, along with several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kathy Cavin, her granddaughter Micayla Crawford, and her step-father Roy Kilburn. 

Per Melissa’s request, her body will be cremated. There will be no formal services or burial at this time. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
