Manuel Angel Miranda

Manuel Angel Miranda, 89, of Fairfield passed away at 5:04AM on Friday December 20, 2024, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt Vernon IL. He was born in Carrizo TX on October 2, 1935, to Basilio and Florentina Miranda. Manuel had spent his career in construction.

Manuel is survived by his wife of 30 plus years- Sharon (Dunn) Miranda of Fairfield; sons- Robert (Aurora) Miranda and Joe (Ester) Robles both of Forney TX; daughter- Kim Quesada of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sisters- Gloria Medina, Susie Robbins, and Jaimie Pollard; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Manuel was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother- Julia Miranda, brothers- Robert and Richard Miranda, sisters- Sylvia and Margaret Hoover.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Monday December 23, 2024, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12PM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
