Logan Kreiter Obituary

Logan Matthew Kreiter, 19, of Fairfield passed away on Saturday July 15, 2023, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

 He was born in Davenport IA on January 27, 2004, to Matthew Allen and Stephanie (Vaughan) Kreiter. Logan was a 2022 graduate of FCHS. He was attending Wabash Community College for Ag with plans to continue in an Ag related field. Logan was a State and American FFA Degree Recipient. He loved cruising the country roads, being on the water, bow fishing, hunting, and helping others. Logan always had a smile on his face, was kind-hearted, a hard worker, and never met a stranger. He was a member of the Fairfield Rural Fire Department. Logan loved his family including his dog Oakley, was of strong faith and had a love for Jesus.

Logan is survived by his parents- Matt and Stephanie Kreiter of Fairfield; sister- Ava Kreiter of Fairfield; grandparents- Gayla (late Tony) Cox of Ridgway, Rodney (Dawna) Vaughan of Fairfield, Jerry, and Georgeann Kreiter of Davenport Iowa; great grandparents Noel and Reta Vaughan Sr of Fairfield; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandfather- Tony Cox.

A visitation will be held at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield from 3-7PM on Friday July 21, 2023. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairfield Rural Fire Department and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
