Leo Doty

Leo Doty, 90, of Fairfield passed away at 11:42AM on Friday November 15, 2024, at his home. He retired from Airtex and was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. Leo was born in Wayne County on March 16, 1934, to George and Nellie (Wood) Doty. He was a member of the Lebanon North CP Church.

Leo is survived by his son- Rick (Amy) Doty of Cisne; grandsons- Jeremy (Nikki Doyle) Doty and Josh (Calli) Doty both of Fairfield; great grandchildren- Alayna Doyle, Axel Doty, Hunter Doty, and Dutton Doty; brother- Eldon (Evelyn) Doty of Fairfield; sister- Janet (Wilford) Lang of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Lea Doty, sister- Doris Leathers.

Funeral services for Leo Doty will be held at 10AM on Friday November 22, 2024, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery, military rites will be provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Thursday November 21, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Lebanon North CP Church and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
