Judy Kae (Gregory) Ricketts

Judy K. Ricketts, 65, of Sims, IL, passed away at 1:02am on Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She had worked for the Little Egypt Carnival for 7 years and had also been a bartender at Lonzo’s Tavern in Sims. 

Judy was born on March 29, 1960, in Fairfield, IL, to Amos and Doris (Grimes) Gregory. 

Survivors include her daughter Jennifer Arnold of Albion, IL, two grandchildren Terrance Arnold and Logan Arnold, two great grandchildren Tyson Arnold and Troin Arnold, her brother Rick (Paula) Gregory of Geff, and her sister Wilma Hooper of Fairfield. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Judy’s body has been cremated. There will be a memorial visitation, hosted by friends of Judy, from 2pm-6pm on Saturday, May 31st, at the Sims School in Sims, IL. There will be no formal burial at this time. Memorial donations can be made to help with cremation expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
