Jeannie Wylie

Jeannie Wylie, 81, of Wood River passed away at 1:50PM on Monday October 23, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton IL.  She was a homemaker.  Jeannie was born in Fairfield on August 16, 1942, to Virgil and Lela (Brock) Williams.  She married Les Wylie on October 8, 1961.

Jeannie is survived by her husband- Les Wylie of Wood River IL; son- Todd (Kristine) Wylie of Glen Carbon IL; daughter- Nicolette Feuquay of Louisville Ky; grandchildren- Tim Feuquay, Kyle Feuquay, Benjamin Feuquay, Kayla (Edward) Feuquay, and Jacob Wylie; sister June McCullough of Fairfield.   Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers- Ed Williams and Jack Williams, sisters- Betty Webb, Judy Downer, and Sharon Young.

Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Monday October 30, 2023, at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12:45 to 1:30PM on Monday at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home who is in charge of all the arrangements.
