Hunter Jaxon Sarles

Hunter Jaxon Sarles, 24 of Fairfield passed away at 6:57 AM, Monday, April 24, 2023, at his home.  Born on October 15, 1998, in Newburgh, IN to Larry and Carrie (Mattox) Sarles, he had worked for many years on the farm for Randy Vaughan.  Recently he worked for Precision Well Service. 

Hunter is survived by his parents Larry and Carrie Sarles of Fairfield, sister Lexi Sarles of Fairfield, brother Austin Moore of Fairfield, grandparents Barbara Sarles of Fairfield and Roy and Sheila Mattox of Geff, nieces and nephew Henli Moore, Lotti Heuerman, and Trigg Moore,  girlfriend Kayla Cessna and her daughter Mackenzie Francis.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Lowell Sarles.

Funeral services for Hunter will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, April 29th at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with visitation from 12 PM until the time of service.  Following the service, he will be cremated and his ashes interred in Union cemetery at a later date.  Hunter loved denim and it is requested that those attending the services dress casually in denim.  Memorials in his honor may be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
