Gwendolyn "Wendy" Leith

Gwendolyn Faye “Wendy” Leith, 69, of Fairfield passed away at 5:25PM on Monday May 1, 2023 at her home.  She was a nurse. Wendy was born in Everton MO on August 6, 1953 to Aulton Brooks and Lois (Porterfield) Kenny. She married Mike Leith on March 20, 1980.

Wendy is survived by her husband Mike Leith of Fairfield; sons- Larry (Keirah) McWilliams of Clinton Arkansas and Toby Joe McWilliams of Fairfield; stepsons- Stephen Leith of Independence MO and Matthew Leith of Blue Springs MO; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers- Larry Kenny and Lynn Kenny both of Everton MO; sisters- Kathy Burlington of Greenfield MO, Jan Kenny of Everton Mo and Pauline Salkil of Ozark Mo; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Wendy is preceded in death by her parents, son- Daniel “Ike” McWilliams, brothers Porter Kenny and John Marvin Kenny, and sisters Louise Wright and Norma Jefferies.

Per Wendy’s wishes, her body will be cremated, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
