Glenna E. (McDowell) Harrison

Glenna Harrison, 82 of Fairfield, passed away at 10:04 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her home.  Born on April 14, 1942, in Wayne County, IL to Glen and Eleanor (Jesop) McDowell, she had been a seamstress and a homemaker. 

Glenna is survived by 4 daughters- Tammy (Jack) Cobb of Charleston, IL, Pam (John) Hutchcraft of Fairfield, Lisa (Kent) Thomason of Fairfield, and Stephanie (Darrell) Montgomery of Booneville, IN, son Sam (Crystal) Harrison of Fairfield, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother Jerry (Mary Jo) McDowell of Fairfield, 4 sisters- Sue (Ray) Murphy of Fairfield, Judy (Jim) Humphrey of Mt. Zion, IL, Donna (Tim) Tatman of Champaign, IL, and Dena (Steve) Hartke of Champaign, IL, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud Harrison, and brothers Jim, Carl, Sam, and Tom McDowell.

Funeral services for Glenna Harrison will be held at 12 PM, Friday, January 10th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials in her honor may be made to the Wayne County Senior Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.
