Gary Lee Wade

Gary Lee Wade, 83, of Fairfield passed away at 12:05PM on Wednesday April 23, 2025, at his home. He was retired from the Air Force. Gary was born in Jonesboro Arkansas on October 9, 1941, to James and Dorothy (McCormick) Wade.

Gary is survived by his wife- Dorthea Wade of Fairfield; daughter- Debra (Bill) Charles of Midwest OK; son- Ron (Sally) Williams of Wichita KS; grandchildren- Claire Charles of Midwest OK, James (Teia) Wade, and John (Dara) Wade both of Tahlequah OK; great grandchildren- Hallie (Charles) York, Jessica (Dylan) Ellis, and Katelyn (Tanner) Christie all of Tahlequah OK; great great grandchildren- Presley Ellis, Ridge Castillo, and Kasen Ellis. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Saturday April 26, 2025, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, military rites will be provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
