Eddie Dean Brooks

Eddie Dean Brooks Sr, 69, of McLeansboro passed away at 11:54AM on Wednesday December 11, 2024, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was a farmer. Eddie was born in Eldorado on September 27, 1955, to James and Bertie (Martin) Brooks. He married Joyce Rawls on July 19, 2012.

Eddie is survived by his wife- Joyce Brooks of McLeansboro; daughter- Stephanie (Amged) Rafla of Tennessee; sons- Michael Brooks  and Eddie Brooks Jr both of Fairfield; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters- Wanda Atteberry of Wayne City and Tonya (Trinity) Fry of Fairfield; brothers- Kenny Brooks and Danny (Sherlyn) Brooks both of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister- Joyce Yarnell.

Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Wednesday December 18, 2024, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Springer Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
