Dwain Kenneth Dawson

Dwain K. Dawson, 67, of Fairfield, died at 9:35am on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Aperion Care in Fairfield, IL. He had been employed at Fairfield Memorial Hospital for many years. 

Dwain was born on May 7, 1955, in Fairfield, IL, to Frederick Junior and Sylvia Margarett (Cline) Dawson. He was a member of Real Life Church and, when he was still able, was an active member of the Fairfield Lions Club. 

Survivors include his brother Jesse Dawson of Fairfield, two nieces Sabra Dawson and Collen Dawson, along with several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral services for Dwain Dawson will be at 1pm on Wednesday, February 1st, at Real Life Church in Fairfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the church. Memorial donations can be made to the Real Life Church and will be accepted during the funeral services or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
