Donna (Clevenger) Turner

Donna Turner, 89 of Fairfield, passed away at 3:35 AM, Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home.  Born on September 11, 1935, in Geff, IL to Orlando and Lella (Lamont) Clevenger she married Jimmy Joe Turner on October 3, 1953.  She had worked at the Fairfield Medical Center, CDC, and drove and taught handicapped children.  She was also a member of St. Edward Catholic Church.

Donna is survived by her daughter Theresa Turner of Fairfield, son Brad (Beth) Turner of Fairfield, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Madge Clevenger and Virginia Taylor, and 3 brothers Ernest, Vernest, and Tice Clevenger. 

Graveside services for Donna Turner will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 29th at Maple Hill Cemetery.  There will be no visitation, and everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery.  Memorials in her honor may be made to Safe Haven Ministries or St. Edward Catholic Church and will be accepted at the service, or the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements.
