Donna (Barrett) Collins

Donna Collins, 77 of Geff, passed away at 1:16 PM, Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.  Born on May 15, 1947, in Mt. Vernon, IL to Darrell and Pauline (Russell) Barrett, she had worked at Fashion Lane, Sunbeam, and Hucks before retiring. 

Donna is survived by her son Carson Collins of Geff, daughter Tama Collins of Geff, twin brother Donald (Ginny) Barrett of Cisne, sister Barbara Scott of Poolville, TX, and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick “Freddie” Collins, and her parents. 

Funeral services for Donna Collins will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 20th, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials in her honor may be made to the Dr. Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
