Donald D Theberg

Donald D. “Pete” Theberg, 72, of Fairfield passed away at 1:01AM on Tuesday November 7, 2023, at his home.  He was a welder and had worked in construction and maintenance.  Pete was born in Fairfield on August 30, 1951, to Joseph George and Mary Aline (Gowler) Theberg.

Pete is survived by his sisters- Jean (Darrell) Hurt of Barnhill, and Delores Anderson of Mt Vernon IL; daughters- Mandy Stewart of Nokomis IL and Jessica Rowark of Fairfield; nieces- Georgia Anderson of Fairfield, Danielle Hutchens of New Jersey, and Theresa (Steven) Bullard of Florida; nephews- Cody Gowler of Belleville and Jeremy Miller of Fairfield; great nephew- Cash Bullard of Florida; and James Tondini of Fairfield who was like a son to Pete also survives.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, and brother- Douglas Gowler.

Per Pete’s wishes, his body will be cremated with no formal services held.

Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation services.
