Delores "Dee" Jones

Delores “Dee” Jones, formerly of Fairfield passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2026, at the Springs Nursing Home in Yellville, Arkansas.  Born on July 22, 1932, in Sims, IL to Hubert and (Chloe) Daniels Green, she graduated from Lindenwood University and had working in administration for the Mental Health Department for the State of Missouri for 32 years.  She was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church.

Dee is survived by her daughter Kim McGill of Yellville, AR, sister Connie (Dennis) Johnson of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Jones, son Jeff Cooley, and 3 brothers- Bob Green, Harold Green, and Carl Green.

Delores was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery on Thursday, January 15th in a private graveside service.  Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield is handling arrangements.
