David Kent Bradham

David K. Bradham, 71, of Golden Gate, passed away at 11:40am on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. 

David was born on July 7, 1952, in Fairfield, IL, to Kinneth and Patricia (Mugrage) Bradham. On July 23, 1977, he married the love of his life, Deborah (Martin) Bradham. 

In his younger years, David and his father, Kenny, ran an auto body shop called Kenny’s Body Shop. After leaving there, he went to work at Airtex Products until his retirement. He loved to be outdoors and loved most all outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and taking rides on the side by side. David also loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was also loved by the neighborhood children and basically, any other child he was around. 

Survivors include his wife Debbie Bradham of Golden Gate, his mother Pat Bradham of Fairfield, three sons Darrin (Leesa) Bradham of Clay City, IL, Dustin (Melissa) Bradham and Derek Bradham both of Fairfield, eight grandchildren, three brothers-in-law Tim (Deb) Martin and Ken (Penny) Martin both of Calvin, IL, and Mark (Dandy) Martin of Grayville, IL, along with numerous extended family members. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny. 

Funeral services for David Bradham will be at 11am on Tuesday, July 2nd, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in the Cisne Cemetery in Cisne, IL. Visitation will be from 5pm-7pm on Monday, July 1st at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the Wabash General Hospital Oncology Dept or the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted during the service times or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
