Darrell Thomason

Darrell Thomason, 70, of Fairfield passed away at 2:16AM on Monday November 11, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville. Darrell was born in Sims on December 12, 1953, to Donal and Leona Thomason. He was a Master Technician at Hella and an avid fisherman, hunter and also loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them grow.

Darrell is survived by daughters- Heather (Steven) Carter of Fairfield, Amy (Bill) West of Albion, Lacey Thomason of Fairfield and Ashley (Aaron Winchester) of Flora; grandchildren- Nicholas Carter, Jaron Carter, Lyndsey Carter, Tenley West, Presley West, Bentley West, and Gunnar Ray; brothers- Dwain Thomason of Fairfield and Rick Thomason of Geff; sister- LaDonna Hoskins of Geff; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Tammy, and brother Darnell.

Per Darrell’s wishes his body will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held on Thursday November 14, 2024, from 5-7PM at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
