Danny Leon Koontz

Danny Leo Koontz, 79, of Fairfield passed away at 10:58PM on May 1, 2025, at his home. He worked at the Farmer’s Store for 32 years and then Airtex for 17 years. Danny was born in Wayne County on April 13, 1946, to Virgil and Maude (Brock) Koontz. He married Linda Jones on December 27, 1964.

Danny is survived by his wife Linda Koontz of Fairfield; sons- Wayne (Denise) Koontz and Steven (Abby) Koontz both of Fairfield; daughter- Danielle (Bradley) Musgrave of Fairfield; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, brothers- Lyman Brock, Dale Koontz, Darrell Koontz, Dennis Koontz, and sister- Melba Cargill.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday May 7,2025 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
