Damien Xavier Goers

Damien Xavier Goers, 25 of Fairfield, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Evansville, IN after a brief illness.  He was born in Fairfield on October 29, 1999, the son of Susan M. (Saltsgaver) Goers.  Despite the challenges of Aspergers Syndrome, he enjoyed music, video games, reading, collecting consumer brand label logos, and Bluey. 

Damien is survived by his mother, Susan, grandmother, Debra Pinnick, grandparents, Mike and Sonya Saltsgaver, aunt, Christina (Joe) Adelman, grandpa, Steve McCullough, and uncle, Heath McCullough. 

Funeral services for Damien Goers will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, April 16th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral home,  with visitation from 11 AM until the time of service.  Following the service he will be cremated.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
