Clemence Marie Wells

Clemence Marie Wells, 97, passed away at 10:40AM on Monday October 21, 2024, at Cisne Rehabilitation & Health Care. She was teacher, worked at the sewing factory, post office, and was also a homemaker. Marie was born in Wayne County on December 7, 1926, to Fred and Iva (Kuster) Wilson.

Marie is survived by her daughters- Mary Ann Hall of Wayne City and Kathy (Dave) Rutherford of Fairfield; grandchildren- Keith Hall of Wayne City, Chris (Leann) Rutherford of Nason IL, and Chad (Ashley) Rutherford of Fairfield; great grandchildren- Trenten Rutherford, Landen Rutherford, Lily Rutherford, Liam Rutherford, and Lincoln Rutherford; step great grandchildren- Shelby Allen and Jaiden Ellis; step great great grandson- Hudson Tate Pottorff; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Glen Wells, seven brothers, four sisters and son in law Jerry Hall.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30PM on Friday October 25, 2024, at Maple Hill Cemtery. There will be no visitation, family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
