Chad Weedman

Chad Weedman, 51, formerly of Fairfield, passed away at 12:45PM on Monday February 23, 2026, at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was a sub-foreman in the maintenance Department at Southern Illinois University for over ten years. Chad was born in Flora IL on July 17, 1974, to Terry Weedman and Brenda (Elliott) Weedman.

Chad is survived by his father- Terry (Jean) Weedman of Fairfield; sister- Jeni Weedman of Cisne; step-sister- Kara (Jarad) Blanton of Fairfield; niece- Taylor Brooks of Cisne; nephews- Eddie Brooks III of Princeton IN and Logan Brooks of Cisne. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Monday March 2, 2026, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
