Cebert Wilson

Cebert A. Wilson, 77 of Fairfield passed away at 4:17 PM, Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.  Born on April 16, 1946, in Paris, IL to Paul and Mary Ruth (Stone) Wilson, he had been a union pipe fitter in Las Vegas, NV for 40 years.  He was also a veteran of the US Air Force.

Cebert is survived by his wife Sharon Wilson of Carmi, son Jim (Liz) Williams of Henderson, NV, stepdaughters Beth Moats and Sheila Williams of Fairfield, 2 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and a step great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Karen Denise Wilson.

Graveside services for Cebert Wilson will be held at 1 PM, Monday, July 24th at Graceland Cemetery in Albion with military rites.  There will be no visitation, and everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery.  Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield is handling arrangements.
