Carson Sheridan Tullis

Carson Sheridan Tullis, 81, of Fairfield passed away at 8:25AM on Saturday March 15, 2025, at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation in highway maintenance and was also a bus driver at FCHS. Carson was born in Springerton on September 25, 1943, to Dorsey M. and Elizabeth (Bell) Tullis.

Carson is survived by sons- Mark (Michelle) Tullis of Smithton IL and Chad (Tina) Tullis of Springfield IL; step son- Tracy Yoho of Geff; grandchildren- Riley (Kylee), Corrine, Tanner, Corbin, Cooper, Mira, and Colby; step grandchildren- Renae, Christopher, Chance, Charles, Jennifer, and Michael; 9 great grandchildren; 1 step great great grandchild; 2 sisters- Norma Puckett and Linda Mix also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother- William Tullis, and his wife- Donna Tullis.

Funeral services for Carson Tullis will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, March 19th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials in Carson’s honor may be made to Victory Outreach Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
