Carol (Coatney) Boyles

Carol Boyles, 70 of Fairfield, passed away at 5:11 AM, Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  Born on December 24, 1953, in Alton, IL to Billy and Cleo (Sonricker) Coatney, she married Robert Boyles on July 3, 1976, who preceded her in death in 2014. Carol was a homemaker, childcare worker, and active in her churches, Geff United Methodist and Ellen Moore.

Carol is survived by her daughter Beth Ann (Keith) Colclasure of Fairfield, son Tyler (Marlissa) Boyles of Olney, grandchildren Carly and Robert Colclasure, Kayley and Audrey Young, and Marley Boyles, great grandchildren Rosie Scherer and Elora Campbell, brother Roger (Linda) Coatney of Mt. Vernon, IL, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Tom Coatney

Funeral services for Carol Boyles will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, July 24th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brown Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
