Brenda LaVon (Clevenger) Gill

Brenda LaVon Gill, 77, formerly of Fairfield, passed away on June 10, 2025, at her residence in Carmi. She had been an administrative assistant at Fairfield National Bank for many years. LaVon was born in Jefferson County on November 17, 1947, to Delbert and Mary (Irwin) Clevenger.

LaVon is survived by her son- Kevin Gill of Redding CA; brother- Lance (Janice) Clevenger of Crossville; and sister- Linda Adkins of Orlando FL.

LaVon was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Dale Gill, brothers- Leon Clevenger and Larry Clevenger, and an infant brother- Bradley Clevenger.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday June 28, 2025, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Ellery with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9AM until the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
