Amelia "Millie" Dunscombe

Amelia “Millie” Dunscombe, 85, of Fairfield passed away at 4:35PM on Friday May 5, 2023, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  She was a Registered Nurse at FMH for 25+ years.  Millie was born in Gideon Missouri on February 5, 1938, to Dave and Ollie (Kessinger) Pearson.  She married Richard Lee Dunscombe on June 16, 1956.

Millie is survived by her husband- Richard Lee Dunscombe of Fairfield; daughters- Roxanne (Rodney) Zobrist of Troy IL, Cheryl (Brian Hallam) Bruce and Lisa (Van Griffith) Friske both of Fairfield; grandchildren- Danielle Siemaszkiewicz, Justin Andrew Smith, Richard Nathan Simpson, Caleb Eric Bruce, Kelli Loren Bruce, Alyssa Rae Droste, Nicolas Ryan Friske, and Jared Lee Friske; 9 great grandchildren; sister- Mary Ellen Morehead of Annapolis MO; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Millie was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather- Ollie and Loren Renfro, father- Dave Pearson, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Millie’s body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday May 13, 2023, at Cornerstone Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone church and will be accepted at the church or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home who is assisting the family with cremation.
