Alice Straube Obituary

Alice May Staube, 80, of Fairfield, passed away at 6:08AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home. She was a homemaker. Alice was born in Fairfield on April 5, 1944, to Sayle and Grace Alice (McCullough) Brown.

Alice is survived by her daughters- Angela (David) Dresser of Wheaton IL and Del Schannon (James) Altizer of Fairfield; sons- Raymond (Sophia) Straube JR of Melrose Park IL, Del Michael Frazier of Fairfield, and David (Misty) Straube of Fairfield; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Raymond Straube, and brothers- Marion and Ronnie Brown.

Per Alice’s wishes her body will be cremated with no formal services held.
