William Micheal Weccele Sr, 63, of Carmi passed away at 3:10PM on Monday June 10, 2024, at his home. He worked in the oil fields. Bill was born in Chicago on November 16, 1960, to Elmer F. and Francis (Murphy) Weccele.

Bill is survived by daughters- Kristy (Steven) Churchwell and Shania Buchanan both of Fairfield; son- Micheal Weccele of Fairfield; ten grandchildren; sisters- Pat Elwert of Chicago and Flo Weccele of Wayne City; brothers- Elmer Weccele and Joe Weccele both of Carmi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Art, Bob, and Harry Weccele.

Bill's body will be cremated with no formal services held.

Memorials may be made to help with cremation expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral home.
