Vivian Irene Struble, 84 of Fairfield, passed away at 12:37 PM, Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL.
Vivian was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Fairfield, IL. She was a beautician, worked at R and M Kauffman Dress Factory, and later worked at Airtex from which she retired. After retirement Vivian volunteered her time as a pink lady at Fairfield Memorial Hospital and at the Clothesline in Fairfield.
Vivian enjoyed reading, taking walks, traveling, collecting rocks, and spending valuable time with her family and friends.
Vivian is survived by her sister Janet Towns of Cisne, IL; brothers Robert Borah of Georgia and Gary (Diane) Borah of Texas; sister in law Linda Borah of Fairfield; step children Jimmy Lee (Christia) Struble of Colorado and Jennifer (Barry) Gill of Iowa; several step grandchildren; nephew David (Rhodona) Borah of Memphis, TN; nieces Marlyn (Butch) Altom of Centralia, IL, Carolyn (Russell) Mitchell of Fairfield, Sherry Towns of Chatham, IL, Terry (Greg) Ray of Cisne, IL; great nieces Lucretia (Alan) Wood of Cisne, IL and Cassidy (Jacob) Webb of Virdin, IL; great nephew River Altom of Centralia, IL; great great nieces Adaline and Emma Wood of Cisne, IL; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Struble; parents Glen and Agnes Borah; and older brother Glenearl Borah.
Funeral services for Vivian Struble will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, February 7th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, IL, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Pastor David Harl will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and will be accepted at the funeral home.
