Treva M. Barnett, 73, of Wayne City, died at 5:50pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, IL. She had been a homemaker.

Treva was born on December 9, 1950, in McLeansboro, IL, to Valoris and Juanita (Irwin) Meyers. On December 3, 1971, she married the love of her life, Charles Ray "Chuck"  Barnett.

Survivors include her husband Chuck Barnett of Wayne City, a son Alan (Amie) Barnett of McLeansboro, two daughters Selena (Chad) Harrell of Crossville, IL and Chandra (Robbie) Drew of Bluford, five grandchildren Austen Barnett, Ashten( Austin) Dillman, Sara Harrell, Charlee Barnett, and Raylea Barnett, a great grandson Griffin Dillman, along with her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Eddie Meyers and Gary Lynn Meyers.

Per Treva's wishes, her body has been cremated with no formal services. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
