Stella A. Lee, 79, of Sims, IL, died at 11:56am on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her home. She had been an LPN at several different hospitals and nursing homes and loved taking care of people.

Stella was born on December 5, 1944, in Wayne County, IL, to Elmer "Tuggles" and Naomi (Brown) Richards. On November 9,2002, she married the love of her life, Donald E. Lee.

Survivors include her husband Donald E. Lee of Sims, a stepson Russell KMan of Olney, IL, two nieces Elizabeth Lee of Fairfield, and Shannon Venters of Mt. Vernon, IL, along with several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Elmer "Bubby" Richards.

Funeral services for Stella Lee will be at 1pm on Tuesday, March 12th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pin Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
