Stacy Newton, 61 of Golden Gate, IL, passed away peacefully at 9:55 PM, Monday, November 18, 2024, surrounded by loving family.  She was born on June 29, 1963, in New Jersey to Ed and Lyda (Lopez) Damen.

Stacy is survived by her husband Jack Newton, daughter Jessi (Chris) Lastly, son Charles Newton, stepdaughter Angela Roberts, 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Ken (Lisa) Newton, and sister-in-law Carolyn (Alan) Bland.

Stacy will be cremated, and the family will host a celebration of life gathering from 1-6 PM Friday, November 22nd at The Landing on Court Street in Fairfield.  Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is assisting with cremation.
