Obituary

Randall Fenton, 73, of Fairfield passed away at 9:27PM on Sunday July 23, 2023, at his home. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army and owned and operated Fenton's Body Shop for 40 years. Randall was born in Mt Vernon IL on September 7, 1949, to Oscar and Luella (Hooper) Fenton. He married Joyce Pope on September 28, 1974. Randall enjoyed building Hot Rods, attending car shows, fishing and especially spending time with his family.


Randall is survived by his wife Joyce Fenton of Fairfield; daughter- Lindsay (Jason) Fields of Linton IN; son- Levi (Marissa) Fenton of Albion; grandchildren- Avery and Alex Calverley of Albion, and Jackson and Jamison Fields of Linton IN; nephew- Grant (Elaine) Haegele of Independence KY; great nephew- Tyler Haegele of Independence KY.


Randall was preceded in death by his parents.


Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday July 26, 2023, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery with military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.


Memorials may be made to the family to be used for charitable contributions and will be accepted at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
