Patsy I. Vaughan, 81, of Fairfield passed away at 1:45PM on Sunday December 24, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville IN. She was a homemaker. Patsy was born in Wayne County on November 11, 1942, to Louis and Ruth (McCullough) Laird.

Patsy is survived by sons- Fred (Jamie) Vaughan Jr of Fairfield, Kevin (Deborah) Vaughan of Chatsworth IL, and Patrick Vaughan of Brandon FL; daughters- Terri Vaughan of Joliet IL, and Julie (Daniel) Berg of Rutledge TN; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters- Virginia Johnson of Fairfield, Sherley Lowery of Fairfield, Donna Faye Mays of Patoka IN, Linda Legg of Fairfield, Nina Bailey of Fairfield, and Pam Mays of Fairfield; brothers- Raymond (Phyllis) Laird of Fairfield, Don (Lesa) Laird of Paoli IN, Dale (Diane) Laird of Minooka IL, and Kenneth (Vicki) Laird of Centralia IL; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Fred Vaughan Sr, grandson- Patrick Vaughan Jr, and sister- Delores Pittman.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday January 3, 2024, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Tuesday January 2, 2024, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Zion Hill Church Camp and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
