Opal Warren, 95 of Fairfield passed away at 8 AM, Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, IL.  Born on December 23, 1927, in Sailor Springs, IL to Benjamin and Veda (Doud) Ditter, she has been a homemaker.

Opal is survived by her daughter Sherrye Tullis of Fairfield, grandchildren James Tullis of Bowling Green, KY and Angie O'Neal of Louisville, KY, great grandchildren Charlie and Paige O'Neal, and a brother Jim Ditter.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Warren, son Stephen Warren, and 11 brothers and sisters.

A visitation for Opal will be held on Thursday, September 28th from 11-12PM at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park near Olney, IL.  Memorials in her honor may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
