Larry D. Haygood, formerly of Fairfield, passed away at 6:10pm on July 8, 2026, at his home in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Larry was born on November 11, 1968, in Memphis, TN, to Ford and Mary V. (Stewart) Haygood.

Survivors include his son Ace Haygood and grandson Greyson Haygood both of Fairfield, his siblings Earl (Connie) Haygood of Berrien Springs, MI, Mearl (Crystal) Haygood of Niles, MI, Linda (Austin) Long of Tupelo, MS, Connie (Jim) Ward of St. Joseph, MI, Mark (Gwen) Haygood of Holcomb, MS, David (Loretta) Haygood of Fairfield, IL, and Suzanne Haygood of Jonesboro, AR, his brother-in-law Benton Whitman of Trumann, AR, his sister-in-law Kathy Haygood of Olive Branch, MS, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gerald Haygood, Ronnie Haygood, and Rickey Haygood, and a sister Brenda Whitman.

Funeral services for Larry Haygood are pending at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be at Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR. Memorial donations can be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
