Larry E. Wieneke, 83 of Fairfield, passed away at 2:27 AM, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  Born on February 16, 1941, in Grantsburg, IL, to Edward and Leatrice (Robinson) Wieneke, he was retired from Trunkline Gas Company and had also worked at Squeaky Clean Car Wash in Fairfield.

Larry is survived by sons Randall (Ashley Wilson) Wieneke of Fairfield and Brian (Cindy) Wieneke of Camden, SC, 4 grandchildren- Ashleigh Jordan of Charleston, SC, Briana Correll of Beaufort, SC, Alayna Doyle of Fairfield, and Anna Wieneke of Camden, SC, 2 great grandchildren- Oliver Correll and Riley Jordan, and special friend Melvin Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Sharon Wieneke, and second wife Dorothy Wieneke.  His twilight marriage to Dorothy brought many joys including Dorothy's daughter Sheryl Whitfield and her husband and three children.

Funeral services for Larry Wieneke will be held at 11 AM, Friday, February 14th at New Beginnings Church in Fairfield, with visitation from 10 AM until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
