Johnny F. Kerr, 89 of Fairfield passed away at 3:11 PM, Monday, January 29, 2024, at Brookstone Estates in Fairfield.  Born on November 14, 1934, in Decatur, IL to John and Lena (Spitter) Kerr, he had worked at Wabash Valley FS in Fairfield for many years.  He was also a member of the Kings Chapel Church.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Hattie Ruth Kerr.

Funeral services for Johnny Kerr will be held at 1 PM, Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with visitation from 12 PM until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery with military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW.  Memorials in his honor may be made to Kings Chapel Church or Senior Life Solutions and will be accepted at the funeral home.
