Eloise J. Carlock, 90 of Wayne City, passed away at 8:10 PM, Sunday, February 4, 2024, at her home.  Born on January 27, 1934, in Mill Shoals, IL to Lewis and Opal (Bond) Blackford, she had been a homemaker, worked at Elledge Funeral Home part time, and was a caregiver.

Eloise is survived by sons Charles (Ginny) Reynolds of Fairfield, Ralph Renyolds of Evansville, IN, Bill Carlock of Wayne City, IL, and Gary (Wanda) Carlock of Walhalla, ND, 8 grandchildren- Charlie Reynolds, , Heather Reynolds, Alan (April) Reynolds, Megan Jackson, John (Olivia Baumgardner) Reynolds, Clayton Carlock, Wesley (Amanda) Carlock, Melissa (Brian) Stone, and Katelyn Carlock, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands- Charles Reynolds and William Carlock, and a brother Billy Blackford.

Graveside services for Eloise Carlock will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, February 8th at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.  There will be no visitation, and everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery.  Memorials in her honor may be made to Wounded Warriors or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the service or the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
