Donnie R. Ralston, 84, of Fairfield, died at 7:49pm on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He had been a contract oilfield pumper most of his life. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Donnie was born on November 11, 1938, in Wayne County, IL, to Claudie and Martha Jane (Brown) Ralston. On November 21, 1964, he married the love of his life, LaDonna (Richards) Ralston.

Survivors include his wife LaDonna and a son Carey Ralston, both of Fairfield, along with four nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Louise Bailey, Sue Kincart, and Judy Matthews, and a niece.

Graveside services for Donnie Ralston will be at 10am on Monday, August 21st at the Victory Cemetery, north of Boyleston. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
